How to Enable Windows 7 GodMode:
Here’s a neat Windows 7 trick that’s been doing the rounds on the Internet. It enables “GodMode,” a term devised by the Microsoft development team, which provides a single place to access all Windows settings without needing to browse options and folders in the Control Panel.
The essentials are: 1. Create a new folder. 2. Rename the folder to GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} (note that you can change the “GodMode” text, but the following period and code number are essential). 3. Open the new icon.

There’s a traffic cone and a bicycle wheel on the PFY’s chair. My desk is laden with the remains of a couple of cellphones, a traffic warden’s ticketing machine and a half eaten tin of chilli beans which looks to have been opened with a claw hammer.
A fellow IRC chatter wrote this, I found it hilarious.

Hi! I would like to test & explore the feasibility of the use of this collaboration tool in the changing, event-driven officeless company I work for. I believe tools designed for a meaningful interaction of like-minded individuals in our organization will help harness & direct our synergies towards a broader understanding of translational market-space. By aligning the dynamic across collaborators, we will be free to raise above the common morass of traditional technology entanglement, and proudly thrust our sun-warmed faces beyond the fragile reality that binds us to horizontal market constraints. As we break free of these bonds and rise skyward, our momentum will build, and we will proudly spread our wings as we sail between the first beams of collaboration, breaking through the sullen overcast of the constrained communication of yesterday.
